On-air celebrities from Lite 100.5 WRCH, a supporter of the Jack Bannan Memorial Turkey Trot for Foodshare, took donations Nov. 19 at Miller Foods in Avon, one of the drop-off spots for the food drive.

Mitchell Auto Group, headquartered in Simsbury, purchased 35 turkeys from Miller Foods to donate to the Turkey Trot, Foodshare’s largest one-day Thanksgiving food drive. Started by the late Jack Bannan, Farmington Valley’s Turkey Trot is now coordinated by his daughter, Marianne Bannan, who stopped by Miller Foods to say thanks.
