• Fallen Avon Deputy Fire Chief Immortalized At CT Firefighters Memorial (patch.com) — Avon residents are remembering Deputy Fire Chief David Theriault, whose name was just added to the Connecticut Fallen Firefighters Memorial after nearly 35 years of service to the town. Avon Volunteer Fire Department members, joined by Tunxis Hose and Farmington firefighters, honored his legacy of leadership, training and dedication during the statewide ceremony in Windsor Locks.
