PCI Compliance: Are your Transactions Secure?

The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is a set of requirements for all merchants who accept credit and debit cards. The purpose of being PCI compliant is to verify that the business or merchant securely handles credit card data to ensure the protection of card holders.
Being PCI compliant applies to ALL businesses or merchants, regardless of size or number of transactions, who accepts, transmits, or stores credit card data. Even if a merchant is using a third-party processor, they still must be PCI compliant.
There is a monthly penalty of $5,000-$100,000 for PCI compliance violations, plus the chance that the bank would either terminate its relationship with the business or increase their transaction fees.
All of PayHub's merchant clients are taken care of and given the proper guidance to becoming PCI compliant so they can process and store credit card information in a safe environment.
