Coxswains are an essential part of the boat with many roles and responsibilities to both the rowers and the coach. You have to think about the safety of the crew, steering, ,communicating, training plans, control and pace the boat, and much more. Unfortunately there’s not a lot of training, workshops or general support available for the coxswain's development at the High School level.

The coxswain huddle will bring together High School coxswains for an hour moderated forum providing the opportunity for learning and sharing.
