From Solarize Avon
What: Because of significant utility rate increases, many Connecticut residents have been interested in learning how to generate their own power with solar. Avon has been selected to participate in the Solarize CT SM program. This allows Avon residents to go solar at a deeply discounted price through an arrangement with Astrum Solar®, Avon’s chosen installer for Solarize Avon.
Who: Avon residents and those interested in learning more about solar are invited to the first Solarize workshop of 2015 in Avon. Town officials and representatives from Astrum Solar will be there to explain how residential solar systems work; what makes a site good for solar; and how much money you can save with a solar system.
