Talcott Mountain Academy Announces New Scholarship for Students
Talcott Mountain Academy announces a new student scholarship opportunity from The Brian and Marilyn Lindsay Foundation.
The Talcott Mountain Science Center & Academy is pleased to announce a new opportunity for financial assistance being offered to students who plan to attend the Talcott Mountain Academy of Science, Mathematics and Technology in the 2017-2018 school year.
The Brian and Marilyn Lindsay Foundation Scholarship provides tuition assistance to selected students entering grades K -8 at Talcott Mountain Academy. Given in memory of Brian Lindsay and his passion for astronomy, the fund supports those students for whom full tuition is beyond the family’s ability to pay. Special consideration will be given to students who exhibit a passion for science.
The Brian and Marilyn Lindsay Foundation Scholarship may go to a single student or may be split among two or more students at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee. Funds may be applied to tuition only.

Families wishing to apply for the scholarship must fill out the application form, file the SSS Parent Financial Statement, and provide a letter of recommendation that can speak to the applicant’s character and academic ability. The recommendation may not be from a family member. All applications must be received and completed by Tuesday, May 1, 2018.
