Upcoming Events at Avon Library
There are a number of events related to the library's Changing America Series.

The following events are part of the Changing America series of exhibits, programs and films that examine landmark events in American history from The Emancipation Proclamation, January 1, 1863 to the March in Washington, August 8, 1963. The Changing America project is hosted by the Avon Public Library November 1 throughDecember 13. All events are free, no registration is required. The Avon Public Library is at 281 Country Club Road, Avon, CT 06001. Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 10:00 am to 8:30 pm, Wednesday 10:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Friday andSaturday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Harlem Renaissance Gallery Exhibit: “A Dream Deferred.” Sights, sounds, and icons from 1920’s African American culture in New York. Open during regular library hours through December 13.
