Vets Exhibit On Display At Avon Library

The exhibit is just in time for Memorial Day.

AVON, CT - In honor of Memorial Day later this month, the Gildo T. Consolini Avon VFW Post 3272 has mounted an extensive photographic exhibit in the gallery of the Avon Free Public Library.

It contains more than 200 photos, courtesy of Deb Key Imagery, and printed material highlighting the Post's just-completed 70th anniversary, the 25th commemoration of Desert Shield and Desert Storm and the many community activities the Post participates in around the Valley.

The Avon Library Board of Directors has commemorated a permanent wall of honor in the gallery displaying honors and events of the Avon VFW Post.

In addition, the Avon VFW Post Auxiliary has on display examples and samples of various projects and events they participate in that benefit veterans in the community.
