WFSB's 'Face the State' Mystery Guests from Avon: Who Might They Be?

WFSB's "Face the State" moderator is trying to identify those from Avon featured in an old clip.

AVON, CT — They are going to be featured on a popular Sunday talk show but they are not going to be talking directly to the host. In fact, he is not entirely sure who they are.

So the question is being presented to all of Avon …

Who are they and where might they be now?

“Someone will know them,” said Dennis House of WFSB-TV, the moderator of “Face the State.”

But the mystery will be part of the appeal when an old clip airs as part of the show's flashback segment at 11 a.m. on Sunday.

House said he was recently sorting through some old archives and came across a 1963 clip from the “Brad Davis Show,” nicknamed “The Milk Show” because of a sponsor. It features a bunch of Avon High School Students being interviewed about summer plans.

House said a lot of the old footage is hard to use because the sound is either muffled or difficult to make out, but the clip of Davis at Avon High was found pretty much intact and very usable.

Some of the names are hard to make out and the identity of some of those interviewed are simply a mystery, he said.

“It would be fun to find out who they are,” House said.

House compiled a collage of those being featured on the “Face the State” segment.
