Berlin Girls Win Division Title at CCC Cross Country Championships

On an unseasonably warm late October afternoon, runners from Berlin enjoyed a successful day navigating the hilly 3.1 mile course at Wickham Park in Manchester.

In the newly-aligned Central Connecticut Conference, the Redcoat girls team prevailed as South-White division champions at the CCC Cross Country Championships.

Jody DiCicco led the way for the Redcoats, finishing third overall in the 174-girl field with a time of 19:45.

On the boys’ side, Dan Perales ran an excellent race, finishing 19th in the the pack of 207 runners. The Berlin boys finished second behind Rocky Hill in their division.
