Berlin High School Indoor Track Athletes Qualify for States

BERLIN, CT — Several members of the Berlin High School indoor track team have posted numbers good enough to qualify for state competition later this winter.

The boys and girls Class M meet will be held Feb. 9 at the Floyd Little Athletic Center in New Haven. The State Open will also take place there on Feb. 18.

Redcoats who have already qualified for the class meet are:

BOYS

• 55 meters - Mitchel Maslowski, 6.60

GIRLS

• 55 meters - Vanessa Reimer, 7.32; Nikki Xiarhos, 7.69
• 300 meters - Vanessa Reimer, 43.14; Nikki Xiarhos, 43.92; Hannah Schulz, 46.94
• 600 meters - Madison Monroe, 1:49.19
• long jump - Hannah Schulz, 15-6.5
• high jump - Patricia Mroczkowski, 5-6; Nikki Xiarhos, 4-8
• 4 x 200 relay, 1:51.58
• 4 x 800 relay, 10:42.91
• sprint medley, 4:42.30
