Middlewoods of Newington Independent and Assisted Living Community celebrated their 13th Anniversary with a South Pacific-themed party for residents, family members, and staff on Friday, March 11th. The party, organized by Executive Director, Stacy Kesl; Activities Director, John Buccini, and the entire Middlewoods team, featured fun vintage food and drinks, a 1940s USO show, music and dancing, and entertainment by the Dick Santi Orchestra, a 17-piece big-band ensemble. Staff and residents dressed for the occasion in polka dots, military garb, and Red-Cross medical attire while some made appearances as Bob Hope, Carmen Miranda, and Dean Martin. The event was a memorable night for all.
