As Practice Opens, a Look at Berlin Fall State Championships
The first official day of practice for fall sports is Aug. 25; Patch looks back at state titles won by Berlin teams in autumns past.
BERLIN, CT — Thursday marks the official opening of practice for fall high school sports, and the first day gives every team hope and optimism that perhaps a state championship is in the cards.
A pair of Redcoat teams have captured state titles in fall sports in the past:
- football (1): 2009 (M)
- girls soccer (1): 1998 (M)
