Update On Little League Registration

• Registrations for the upcoming 2012 Little League season are available on-line at www.berlin-littleleague.com  until March 17th. Registration is open to boys (ages 6-15), girls (ages 7-16), and challengers (ages 5 and up). Registration will cover Baseball, Softball, Challengers, and Junior Little League (ages 13-15, formerly Babe Ruth Baseball)

The on-line system offers payment by credit card.  The sytem will now handle all necessary items required for registration. This includes birth certificate verification for returning players, medical release info, emergency contact info, coaching applications, and payment. There is no longer the need to visit Petit Complex. Registration is $95 for one child, $160 for two and $225 for three.

• It is mandatory for all 6 year olds (your child must turn 6 on or before April 30, 2012) and anyone who has not yet participated in Berlin Little League, to provide a valid birth certificate with the official raised seal.  Photocopies are NOT acceptable. You may come to the Petit Complex this Saturday morning March 3 from 9am-12 noon to sign up.

• There will be player evaluations for Little League Baseball, ages 9 through 12 on March 17 and 18.  All 10, 11, 12 year olds MUST attend evaluation. Evaluations for 9 year old’s is optional.  If you are interested in your 9 year old being picked for a major league team, they MUST attend.

• Tryouts for the major Softball division (9-12 years old) division will be on March 17.

• For those interested in managing or coaching at any level, you must bring in the application to the Petit complex this Saturday March 3 from 9am to 12 noon or fax it to 860-829-8519.
