Bethel Area Fireworks Are This Weekend: Where To Watch Nearby

Several nearby communities will light up the skies this Independence Day.

BETHEL, CT — Bethel residents looking to celebrate Independence Day won't have to travel far this year, with several nearby communities hosting fireworks displays and family-friendly festivities.

Brookfield Fireworks

Brookfield's America 250 fireworks celebration is scheduled for Friday, June 26, at Brookfield Town Hall, 100 Pocono Road.

The free event will conclude with a fireworks display beginning at approximately 9:15 p.m.

Danbury Fireworks Celebration

Danbury's annual fireworks show returns Saturday, June 27, at Candlewood Town Park, 36 Hayestown Road.

Gates open at 5:00 p.m., with live music by Junk beginning at 6 p.m. Fireworks are scheduled for dusk, and admission is free. The rain date is Sunday, June 28.

Weston Fireworks Celebration

Weston's annual "3rd of July" celebration is set for Friday, July 3, at Weston Middle School Field, 135 School Road.

The event opens at 4:30 p.m. and includes food trucks, live entertainment and fireworks at dusk.

Wilton July 4 Celebration

Wilton's Independence Day festivities return Saturday, July 4, with a community parade, Town Green celebration and fireworks at dusk.

The fireworks display will be held at the Wilton High School Sports Complex, 395 Danbury Road.
