  • Trick or Treat at Town Hall, Friday, October 30, 2015 at 2 p.m., 100 Pocono Road, Brookfield.

Danbury

  • Danbury Halloween on the Green. Saturday, October 31 at CityCenter., Ives Street, 2 -4 p.m., costume parade at 3:30, costume contest, games, food and more.
  • Trick-or-Treat at Stew Leonards. Saturday, October 31, on Halloween day, Saturday, October 31, children who wear costumes to the store will get a free ice cream cone. Stew Leonards, 99 Federal Road, Danbury, CT. For more info: 203.790.8030
  • Trick-or-Treat at the Danbury Fair Mall, Saturday, October 31, from 4-6 p.m. Danbury Fair Mall, 7 Backus Ave., Danbury.
  • Danbury Railway Museum Pumpkin Patch Train. Ride a vintage train to the pumpkin patch to get a free pumpkin, cider and cookies. Costumes encouraged, Thomas the Train table, coloring station. No reservations needed.

Easton

  • Easton Trunk or Treat and Bonfire. The Easton Girl Scouts and Lions Club present the event on Saturday, October 31. Trunk or Treat from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. (5:00 Trunk set up time). Samuel Staples Back Parking Lot. Bonfire at 8 p.m.at Morehouse Fields. Free! Candy donations are accepted at the Parks & Recreation office or the Ext. Day Program (Room 160 @ SSES) through Oct. 28. Newtown

  • 6th Annual Howl-O-Ween Dog Costume Party, Saturday, Oct. 31, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Newtown Park & Bark, 21 Old Farm Road, $5 per dog. Games, treats, costume contests, haystack treasure hunt. Proceeds benefit the dog park.

New Milford

  • Parks and Rec organizes a “safe alternative” to trick or treating. Instead of trick or treating in your neighborhood people are asked to register their vehicles, decorate them and then park around the town green on Halloween night from 5:15-7:30. You can pass out candy as children “trunk or treat” from car to car. There will be a Zombie “Flash” Mob at 6:30. For more information call New Milford Parks and Rec at 860.355.6050. If there is heavy rain the event will be canceled. Saturday, October 31, 5:15 PM to 7:30 PM.

Norwalk

  • Monster Mash, October 31; 10-5 p.m., Stepping Stones Museum for Children, Mathews Park, 303 West Avenue, Norwalk, 203.899.0606. Admission: $15; members $10. steppingstonesmuseum.org. Games, face-painting, treasure hunt, mask making, pumpkin and treat bag decorating.

Redding

  • Redding Trunk or Treat. Saturday, October 31 from 3-5 p.m. Redding Neighbors & Newcomers host the event at the Redding Community Center Parking Lot. Register children in advance by clicking here. Ridgefield

  • #ACAMHALLOWEEN at the Arldrich Museum. October 31. Photo booths, trick-or-treating and more.
  • Ridgefield Library’s Halloween Fun for the Very Young for children 6 and under. Saturday, October 31; 11:30am-12:15 p.m.

Southbury

  • Trick or Treat at Southbury Plaza, Saturday, October 31, 3 to 5 p.m., 100 Main Street North, Southbury. Participating stores will be noted with a pumpkin sign on their door. Drop off a non-perishable food item for the Southbury Food Bank in one of the large orange buckets located near Stop and Shop’s garden center and get a free treat bag to collect your goodies in. For ages 12 and under in costume. All kids must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Trick or Treat at Center Firehouse on Saturday, October 31 from 4 - 7 p.m.. The firehouse will be transformed into a maze, appropriate for children and adults of all ages. Members of the Southbury Volunteer Firemen’s Association, Ladies Auxiliary, Junior Corps, and the Southbury Police Department will also hand out candy, glow bracelets, and 9-volt smoke detector batteries. Westport

  • Spooky Stencils at Westport Arts Center. Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.. Westport Arts Center is hosting a special drop-in class for Halloween. Design your own stencil to create your a tote bag to use on Halloween Night. Westport Center for the Arts 51 Riverside Avenue, Westport. $25.00 Non-Members; $20.00 Members. westportartscenter.org.

Weston

  • Trunk or Treat, Fri, October 30, 4pm – 6pm. Weston Intermediate School, 95 School Road, Weston.

Wilton

Woodbury

  • Trunk or Treat at Hollow Park on Halloween night, Saturday, Oct. 31. Doors open at 5 for cars decorating their trunks (no cars can leave the area until 7:30 p.m.). Doors open at 6 p.m. for those coming trick or treating. No registration required. Prizes for best decorated trunk and best decorated jack-o-lantern.
