Bethel Breakfast To Raise Money For Girl, 4, With Liver Disease
A Bethel restaurant will be host a breakfast this week to raise money for a 4-year-old girl diagnosed with a liver disease.

BETHEL, CT - Michael’s at the Grove in Bethel will host a breakfast Friday at 8 a.m. to raise money for the family of a 4-year-old girl diagnosed with a liver disease at a young age, newstimes.com reported. The event is hoped to raise money to aid in the cost of a recent life-saving surgery.
Penelope Hansen was born with a rare pediatric liver disease, for which she underwent surgery in August, according to newstimes.com. The procedure was successful and Hansen has recovered well so far, however the surgery came at a price tag of $740,000, only part of which was covered by insurance.
