Bethel Crews Tackle House Fire
The American Red Cross has reported it is helping two families – four adults and two children — who were affected by the fire.

BETHEL, CT — Firefighters from Bethel and Stony Hill Fire Departments tackled a kitchen fire Sunday evening.
No injuries were reported.
Crews deployed a hose line inside the Grassy Plain Street residence to extinguish the blaze.

The American Red Cross has reported it is helping two families – four adults and two children — who were affected by the fire, providing assistance to meet their immediate needs.
The fire remains under investigation by the Bethel Emergency Management & Fire Marshal Office.

"We appreciate the community’s patience in utilizing detours while the road was closed to help keep our first responders safe," the Bethel FD posted on social media.
