Bethel Family Fest to Benefit Local Non-Profits

Proceeds benefit the HERO Project and Neighbors Helping Neighbors.

BETHEL, CT --- The Bethel Family Fest is scheduled for Saturday, May 5th from noon to 4 p.m. at the Danbury Sports Dome. Proceeds benefit the HERO Project and Neighbors Helping Neighbors.

Scheduled festivities include:

  • Touch-a-Truck
  • Music
  • Health Fair, Games
  • Local Vendor Shopping
  • Bouncy House
  • Face Painting
  • Amber Alert
  • Sports
  • HERO is short for Heroin Education to Resist Opiates, and is an awareness project designed to educate family and friends on the signs of heroin and opiate use.

    Neighbors Helping Neighbors, created through the Bethel Chamber of Commerce, is an organization that raises funds for Bethel residents who are in need of assistance with any outdoor painting and/or exterior home repair projects.

    The Danbury Sports Dome is located at 25 Shelter Rock Lane. Admission is $5 per person or $20 per family.
