Bethel First Responders Honored for Service
The fire company held its annual dinner Saturday night.
BETHEL, CT —The Stony Hill Volunteer Fire Company honored three of their own on Saturday night at the organization's annual Awards Dinner.
Matt Gunter and Tracey Buckley were awarded for their "extraordinary dedication and service to Stony Hill EMS." Gunter an emergency medical responder and fire lieutenant, received the 2019 EMR Award, while Buckley, an emergency medical technician, received the 2019 EMS Award.
Fire engineer Dave Bunting was the recipient of the 2019 Chief’s Award for his "generous commitment of time, support and inspiration" to the Department.
