Bethel Man Arrested for DUI: Danbury Police

Police say the man's vehicle was seen swerving from side to side.

BETHEL, CT — A Bethel man is facing a DUI charge after police say his car was seen drifting from side to side on March 18, according to Danbury Police.

Yunior Fernandez, 37, was seen driving a black SUV which was drifting from side to side on South Street in Danbury at 3:16 a.m. Police say Fernandez's vehicle nearly struck a curb at one point.

Officers smelt alcohol on Fernandez when he was pulled over, and he failed field sobriety tests according to police.

Fernandez was held on a $2,500 bond.
