Bethel Man Charged in Danbury Baseball Bat Attack

The bat attack appeared to be related to a domestic dispute, according to police.

BETHEL, CT — Police have charged a Bethel man in the baseball bat attack which sent another man to the hospital last Friday afternoon.

Faisal Sadiq, 34, of Sycamore Court, attacked the other man near the Masjid Islamic Center at 388 Main Street around 3 p.m. The victim's injuries were not life-threatening.

The incident appeared to be related to a domestic dispute, according to Dabury Det. Lt. Mark Williams.
