Bethel Man Found Guilty Of Sexually Assaulting A Minor
A jury found the 46-year-old Bethel man guilty of fourth-degree sexual assault, and two counts of risk of injury to a minor.
BETHEL, CT — A 46-year-old Bethel man has been found guilty of sexual assault.
The verdict was handed down in Danbury Superior Court on Thursday, according to a news release from the Office of the state Division of Criminal Justice.
A jury found Nathan Shupp guilty of fourth-degree sexual assault, and two counts of risk of injury to a minor.

According to evidence presented at trial, between August 2018 and February 2019, Shupp inappropriately touched an 11-year-old girl and allowed the child "to be placed in a situation in which her morals and health were likely to be impaired."
Sentencing is scheduled for March 30, in Danbury Superior Court.
