Bethel Police Apprehend Fugitive Wanted For Assault
Bethel police apprehended interstate fugitive "Freedom Shapel Morris," who was wanted for assault with a deadly weapon and intent to kill.

BETHEL, CT — Police have arrested a fugitive wanted in a shooting from Greenville, NC.
The suspect,"Freedom Shapel Morris," was wanted for assault with a deadly weapon and intent to kill.
Bethel law enforcement officers received information that Morris was staying at the Microtel, at 80 Benedict Road. Coordinating efforts with the Danbury Regional Emergency Services Team, the Bethel Police Department apprehended Morris without incident.

Morris was held at Bethel Police Headquarters on a $2 million bond, and arraigned Monday at Danbury Superior Court.
