This public information from the Wilton Police Department is accurate as of Apr. 7, 2023. Items reflect charges filed, not convictions.

BETHEL, CT — A domestic dispute and a Danbury man who police say skipped out of court appearance were atop the Bethel Police Department's arrest log for the beginning of April.

Shortly before 7 p.m. on April 6, police officers were dispatched officers to Idelwood in Bethel for a domestic dispute. Police charged a 23-year-old man with disorderly conduct and released him on a 10 percent cash bond of $100. He was scheduled to appear before Danbury Superior Court on Apr. 10.

Less than a half hour later on the same day, the Bethel PD dispatched officers to the parking lot of the Motel 6 at 21 Stony Hill Road for a trespassing complaint. During the course of their investigation, the officers discovered one of the suspects had an active warrant out of Waterbury Court for failing to appear in court. Police transported Forrest Hopper, 42, of Homestead Avenue in Danbury, to headquarters, where he was processed and scheduled to appear before Waterbury Court on Apr. 18.
