A woman was seriously injured on Thursday after being struck by a car on Greenwood Avenue near The Note restaurant, police reported. She was treated at Danbury Hospital. The pedestrian was not located within a crosswalk at the time of the crash. The driver of the vehicle is known and cooperating with police. Names are being withheld because the crash is still under investigation. Police have requested that anyone who may have seen the crash contact Sgt. James Christos at 203.744.7900. <h3></h3>
