Bethel Police Station Construction On Schedule
The new facility is about twice the size of the current one.

BETHEL, CT — The Bethel police station construction project is about halfway complete despite some surprises. A concrete slab was found buried at the construction site that cost about $170,000 to remove.
Voters approved the $13.5 million project in 2015. The new station is about twice as big as the current station, according to the News-Times.
Police Chief Jeff Finch believes officers will move into the station in September.
