Bethel Resident Charged With New Year's Weekend DWI: NYSP
He was on Route 6 in Southeast.

BETHEL, CT — A Bethel resident faces an impaired driving charge in New York after a New Year's Eve stop on Route 6. He was among two Connecticut residents picked up by New York State Police over the long New Year's weekend during a crackdown on drunk driving.
- On December 30, 2017, State Police from SP Brewster arrested Julisa M. Jaime, age 27, of New Milford, CT, for DWI. She was traveling on State Route 22 in the town of Southeast, NY, when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
- On December 31, 2017, State Police from SP Brewster arrested Spencer A. Mikell, age 22, of Bethel, CT, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 6 in the town of Southeast, NY, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
