Bethel Student Charged With Possessing Weapons On School Grounds
Police charged an 18-year-old Bethel High student with drug and weapons offenses last week.
BETHEL, CT — Police have charged a Bethel High School student after drugs and weapons were allegedly found in his car, parked on school property.
High School administration officials began the investigation into Garrett Foscato, 18, "after observing suspicious activity," according to a Bethel Police Department report.
The student's car contained two edged weapons, two air soft pistols, THC vaping cartridges and marijuana, according to police.

On Mar. 17, Bethel police charged Foscato with possession of a weapon on school grounds, possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana under the age of 21.
Foscato was released on a promise to appear in Danbury Superior Court on Mar. 28.
