Coronavirus CT: Infection Rate Remains Over 3.35%
Nearly 26 percent of the patients hospitalized with the coronavirus in Connecticut are fully vaccinated.
CONNECTICUT — After spiking to a 12-week high on Tuesday, the daily Connecticut COVID-19 positivity rate dropped nearly a point overnight.
In the latest numbers released Wednesday afternoon by the state Department of Public Health, another 838 cases of the coronavirus were confirmed. With 24,777 tests taken, Connecticut's daily coronavirus positivity rate is 3.38 percent.
Hospitalizations rose by four beds overnight. Two hundred and forty-seven patients are currently hospitalized with laboratory-confirmed COVID-19; of those, 64 (25.9 percent) are fully vaccinated.
