DAWS 3rd Annual Run Your Tail Off 5K and Kids' Fun Run
Danbury Animal Welfare Society 5K Run Let's You Run with Your Dog
Danbury Animal Welfare Society will hold its 3rd Annual Run Your Tail Off 5K and Kids’ Fun Run race. The unique event has something for everyone. Competitive and non-competitive runners and walkers are welcome to take part in the race on a challenging, certified 5K course. Runners and walkers can bring their dogs to participate as well. Children are welcome to attend and compete in the one mile Fun Run.
This annual event is a major fundraising effort for the shelter. Danbury Animal Welfare Society, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of animals in the community and beyond. All proceeds from the event will benefit the organization.

Registration begins at 7:00 AM – 8:30A M for pre-registered participants and walk-ins.
Race Start Times:
9:00 AM - Kid’s Fun Run
9:30 AM - Adults Running with Dogs
9:40 AM - Adults Running without Dogs
Registration Fees:
Kids - $15
Adult Only - $30
Adult with Dog - $35
All pre-registered participants will receive a t-shirt, and dogs will receive a bandana. Kids participating in the event will receive a medal. Healthy snacks will be provided after the race.
