'Domestic Incident' Involving Firearm Under Investigation By Bethel PD

BETHEL, CT — Police responded to a domestic incident at a residence around 7 a.m. Friday.

Officers from the Bethel Police Department learned that a firearm was involved, and the suspect had left prior to police arrival, according to officials.

The initial investigation resulted in a heavy police presence in the area of Cortland Drive Friday morning, according to police reports.

Bethel police eventually located the suspect and took him into custody without incident.
