Driver Hospitalized After Rollover Crash in Bethel: Stony Hill Fire

Firefighters had to remove a car door to free the driver from the vehicle after the crash on Old Hawleyville Road.

BETHEL, CT — One person was transported to the hospital after a rollover crash on Old Hawleyville Road in Bethel Monday afternoon, according to the Stony Hill Volunteer Fire Company.

Fire officials said on Facebook that the department responded to the crash at 12:14 p.m. and found a vehicle had rolled over on to its roof. Firefighters had to remove the driver's side door to free the driver of the vehicle.

The unidentified driver was transported to Danbury Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
