“On October 7th, 2015 my cousin started complaining that his head hurt.... He was taken to Danbury Hospital and then transferred by helicopter to Yale Children’s Hospital. He underwent emergency brain surgery because he has an arteriovenous malformation (AVM). AVM is a very rare and serious condition...... We are now in the ICU and praying that he stabilizes.”

The boy has a long way to go with his recovery and his parents need the help of the community to get them through this difficult time.

“ Christopher holds a special place in our hearts and means so much to all of his family and friends. He is only 7 and he has so many years ahead of him. We love him so much and want him better. So please find it in your hearts and help our little Christopher. Every little bit makes a big difference. God Bless!”

The Carreras-McLaughlin Medical Fund has received $3,356 of their $10,000 goal in 3 days.
