Help us turn Bethel into a Winter Wonderland

Festival of Wreaths and Silent Auction!

We are encouraging our Bethel Businesses, organizations and individuals to show us their creative side when it comes to decorating a wreath for the Bethel Chamber of Commerce’s 1st annual “Festival of Wreaths” exhibit and silent auction.

It’s a unique way to market some of Bethel’s organizations and local businesses. All are encouraged to submit a wreath, including individuals, Girl Scout and Boy Scout groups, churches, non-profits and civic organizations as well as School and sports organizations.

Wreaths can be inspired by old world traditions; festive elegance, modern gadgets, movie themes and nature just to mention a few. They will be on display during Bethel’s Winterfest scheduled for Friday, November 29. All wreaths will be for sale to the public through a silent auction with all proceeds benefiting the Discover Bethel Buy Local First Campaign. Bids on wreaths will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. Friday, November 29 and may be made in person.

A wreath donation will be accepted Friday, November 29 starting at 10:00 a.m. on the lawn of the Municipal Center or prior by making arrangements with Bethel Chamber of Commerce. Designs may be traditional or reflect the business or organization’s products, services, activities or interests in a creative way. If you would like to participate and/or need some great ideas or inspiration please contact Jennifer Zinzi at jzinzi@unionsavings.com or by calling the Bethel Chamber of Commerce at 203-743-6500.
