Longtime Bethel School Board Chairman Dies

BETHEL, CT — Larry Craybas, longtime chairman of the school board, died on Saturday following a battle with leukemia, the News-Times is reporting.

Craybas resigned from his position last month.

Craybas was a Republican and a keen advocate for the ongoing elementary school renovations. He has been board chair for about eight years, and a member of the school board for two years prior to that.
