• Connecticut city considers moratorium on new Flock cameras amid privacy concerns (nbcnewyork.com) — Bethel has joined Milford in pausing the installation of new Flock license plate cameras, as state and local leaders weigh safety benefits against privacy concerns. With a statewide review underway and new privacy rules taking effect in October, Bethel's temporary moratorium puts local use of this surveillance technology on hold while officials reassess how data is stored and accessed.

• Bok makes history as first girl in local BRWS (timesobserver.com) — A youth baseball team from Bethel capped its Babe Ruth World Series run with a 10-0 win over Woodlands, Washington, in Jamestown, New York.
