Rep. Duff Reads to Bethel Children

From NEA: In honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday, Rep. Duff joined in the nationwide celebration by reading to the kindergarten students of Mrs. Callahan class.

“I had a terrific time reading to Ms. Callahan’s class today for Read Across America,” said Rep. Duff. “Celebrating reading is so vital for our children and such a significant part of their learning.”

Launched in 1998 by NEA, Read Across America is the nation’s largest celebration of reading, focusing coast-to-coast attention on the importance and the joys of reading! While NEA’s Read Across America provides resources to keep kids reading 365 days a year, events and activities—with red and white hatted readers—bring reading excitement on Dr. Seuss’s birthday.
