Rep. Harding Engages with Brookfield Residents on Key Issues

Coffee Hours at Jesters Coffee sees great turn out.

BROOKFIELD – Jesters Coffee Shop in Brookfield was alive with conversation on the morning of May 15, 2015 when Representative Stephen Harding met with constituents for coffee. Important pieces of legislation were discussed as concerns were raised regarding their impact on the 107th district.

“We had a great turnout for this meeting, and I’m happy to reconnect with my constituents,” said Rep. Harding. “As debates get more and more complex in the House Chamber, I want residents of Brookfield, Bethel and Danbury to feel assured that their best interests are being represented.”

Key topics that were discussed at the coffee hours include taxes on colleges and the Danbury and New Milford Hospitals, the state deficit, tolls, small businesses, the enforcement of local ordinances, tree cutting along highways, education funding, and drug free zones.
