"Until Further Notice" Metro-North Danbury Line Has New Temporary Schedule

A Service advisory has been issued by Metro-North for the Danbury Branch:

Temporary Danbury Branch Schedule Begins Sat., March 1

A temporary Danbury schedule will be in effect starting Saturday, March 1, until further notice, to provide a more reliable service while contractors for Metro-North and the Connecticut Dept. of Transportation (ConnDOT) work to resolve the problem with the new grade crossing system.

The schedule will include train time adjustments for most weekday peak-period trains as well as substitute busing for weekday off-peak and weekend service.
