$100,000 Gift To Go Toward Woodbridge Animal Shelter Restoration

WOODBRIDGE, CT — The Woodbridge Regional Animal Control will receive some much-needed restoration work thanks to a $100,000 donation from the estate of animal lover Janice Wright, the New Haven Register reported.

According to the New Haven Register, Wright left at least $100,000 to the One Big Dog Animal Rescue Fund, which aims to "prevent and alleviate animal suffering." The money has already been donated to the town to use in restoring the dilapidated and overcrowded shelter.
