2 Found Dead During Well-Being Check In Woodbridge: PD

WOODBRIDGE, CT — Two people were found dead inside an Orchard Road residence on Friday, according to police.

Police Chief Ronald Smith said officers were dispatched at 11:49 a.m. Friday to conduct a well-being check at the home, after an employee of the homeowners reported being unable to contact them.

Responding officers entered the residence through a rear window and found the two deceased people, police said.

Woodbridge police are leading the investigation. The Connecticut State Police Major Crimes Unit was contacted to process the scene.

“At this time, the incident appears to be isolated, and there is no known danger to the public,” Smith said.
