Amity Grad, 25, Found Dead In Florida Parking Lot

FORT MEYERS, FL — An Amity High School graduate was found dead in his car in a shopping center parking lot Monday night, according to The Fort Meyers News-Press. Beau Grenier, 25, was born at St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury, attended Southern Connecticut State University, and recently moved to Florida, according to an obituary at Legacy.com.

Grenier was reported missing June 26. Police told the News-Press the death was not suspicious.

He was found in a gray, four-door Toyota Prius that was parked between a grocery store and a bank. The car was registered in his name.

Grenier disappeared following an argument with his roommate about his drinking habits, NBC 2 reported. He was on medication to prevent intestinal bleeding.

A Mass of Christian Burial service will be held Wednesday, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Church on Center Road in Woodbridge.
