Amity High School Police News: Drug Arrest, Larceny, Assault, Public Disturbance

Oct. 27 at 2:45 p.m., a 17-year old male from Bethany along with a 16-year old female from Orange, were arrested at Amity Regional High School in connection with the theft of several IPads. The male was charged with Use and Possession of Marijuana and Larceny in the 6th. The female was charged with Possession of Marijuana less than 4 oz., and Larceny 6th.
Oct. 19 at 1:10 p.m. at Amity Regional High School a 16-year old male student was brought into the office where he became loud and verbally abusive. He was ticketed for creating a public disturbance.
A 15-year old female from New Haven was given a juvenile summons for Assault in the 3rd and Breach of Peace in the 2nd. According to police, the female was walking down the hallway in the school yelling at people to get out of her way when she punched another student in the mouth. Her court date was set for Oct. 21 at juvenile court in New Haven.
