Bethany Garden Club Volunteers at Yale Hospital Van Grow Garden
Main Cafeteria Garden Revitalized with Seasonal Displays
The Bethany Garden Club volunteered their time and talents to help revitalize a heavily seen common area at Yale New Haven Hospital. The space is being transformed into the Van Grow Garden combining art and nature for patients, staff and visitors to enjoy.
The club designed an autumn garden, completed the planting and returned again to fill the area with 400 spring bulbs. They have already decided on the winter planters to continue to add seasonal interest to the space adjacent to the main cafeteria. Yale New Haven Hospital is thrilled with the results and grateful for the involvement of the Bethany Garden Club.
