Amity Regional Middle School, Bethany Campus – Leo Club Activities Update
The Leo Club has experienced an unusually busy and productive beginning to the school year. As the community service club we are focused on starting our help in our own communities. Many of you know that the Eldredge Family of Woodbridge suffered a tragedy when Andrew (AMSB 2004 and AHS 2007) was struck by a motorcycle in NYC. Andrew is receiving excellent care but it is associated with a large price tag and insurance only covers a portion of the family’s expenses.
The Leo Club has put in many hours outside of school time to support the family both emotionally and financially. Approximately $1500 has already been deposited into the Eldredge Family Fund at People’s Bank. The efforts to raise this money have included:

In appreciation and acknowledgement of school fundraising efforts and to lift spirits the school was treated to a mini concert featuring a choir group, a strings group and a small band ensemble. Unfortunately there wasn’t enough time for the band to perform as they had hoped. We are looking forward to another special opportunity to hear them perform. They sounded AMAZING during rehearsals.
