August 2011 Closings in Area Towns

As the end of summer ticked away, Realtors in the area were busy trying to get families into their new homes before the start of the school year. 

Sorry for the delay in posting this! I'd like to blame it on Irene (we didn't get juice back until late Friday evening), but the truth is, I am just very busy with real estate activity. Don't let anyone tell you it's a slow market because I am busier than I have ever been.

Attached are August 2011 closings of Single Family Homes and Condos (where appropriate) for Bethany, Orange, Woodbridge, Branford, Cheshire, Clinton, East Haven, Hamden, Madison, Milford, North Haven, Wallingford, Waterbury and Westville. 

The first page is summary statistics, average and median closed price, closed price per square foot, sale price/list price ratio and average and median days on market. The pages that follow include pictures of the houses that closed in August and details about square footage, number of bedrooms, baths, features such as fireplaces, foyers, flooring, garage, lot size, taxes, etc.
