Local Bethany Band, The Foresters' Average Age Is 10, But They Sure Do They ROCK!

It's amazing to think that Bethany Locals Evan, age 11, Hayden age 10 and Liam age 8 only bought their instruments last fall! Man can they ROCK!

It's amazing to think that the Bethany local band The Foresters with Evan Nork on guitar and lead vocals (age 11), Hayden Nork on bass and vocals (age 10) and Liam Nork on drums (age 8), have only had their instruments since last fall. In that time they have written dozens of original songs. The band is starting to play more shows around the area and build a growing fan base.

Their first concert was covered in the Bethwood Patch almost a year ago () and since that time The Foresters have played several times at the , for the Benefit concert in New Haven and the .

They have a series of shows coming up including the Friday October 21 Family Pumpkin Night at the Bethany Community School.

The Space has also booked them for a return engagement on Friday November 4th playing with local pop punk rockers Nothing2Simple.

They will be rounding out the month of November by participating in the Amity Teen Center battle of the bands on Friday November 25 (the day after Thanksgiving). The winners of the battle get to play at Toads Place in New Haven in January.

There is certainly some amazing talent in the Amity area! Young local bands are very lucky to have venues such as the Amity Teen Center and The Space where they can showcase their music and build a fan base.
