On to the Fourth Bethany Farmers Market!

Another successful week at the Bethany Farmers Market! Each Saturday we continue to sell fresh seasonal produce and goods from our faithful and family-oriented local farmers!

Last weekend, we had another successful Bethany farmers market! Michael Calhoun and his daughter Melinda sold his beautiful flowers grown right here in Bethany. He will bring blueberries this weekend! Whitney from Bodhichitta Farms in Prospect brought her raw honey and maple syrup along with her fresh kale and Swiss chard. Laura brought freshly made bread from Whole German Bread in New Haven. They are very delicious to eat with Whitney’s honey! Larry Brownstein of Tasty Kale and his kids brought many yummy flavors of kale chips. Albert and his father continue to bring various kinds of local goat cheeses. We were also delighted to have Natural Lips this past week, which brought homemade soaps and other lovely goods. Also, Locket’s Meadow from Bethany again brought their hand-spun yarn and children’s books. Bruno from Tuttle Ridge Farm, a faithful farmer who has been with us for a few years now, brought fresh summer vegetables. He will have homemade smoothies and coffee this week, too! Alan and his family from Back Acher’s Farm sold yummy seasonal vegetables as well. His sister taught fun exercises with her decorative hula-hoops! Hope to see you this Saturday for our fourth week of the Bethany Farmers Market!
