"Tweeting" and Wall-Posting vs. Texting
Simple conversations that are meant to be private are now going public through Facebook wall posts and Twitter. What is going on?

For some people, the last they want to hear about is what their Facebook friend that's two years older than them that they have seen once in the hallway is talking about with their friends. However, it's almost impossible to ignore it when the post is sitting at the top of their news feed.
How about Twitter? In about twenty seconds, there's usually a red bar that will say something like "5 New Tweets." Should be interesting to see people speak their mind, right? Wrong. Frequently there are tweets of full length conversations between two people about a pointless subject for the entire public to see. It's almost as if people threw out Facebook chat, AIM, and email. And don't people spend hundreds of dollars on their iPhone, Blackberry, and Android phones for private conversations?
Seriously, there's no need for you or the world to know why the girl two years older than you was mad at her boyfriend last night. We know you can't put down your Crackberry anyways, so save a bit of our day by sending a text.
